About US

The Queensland Academy of Young Singers (QUAYS) provides children and young people across Queensland with opportunities to sing together in choirs and ensembles in supportive and engaging environments.

We work in schools and from our city centre base, helping young people develop a lifelong love of making music with others. Our programmes build confidence, teamwork, and musical skills while highlighting the many social, educational, and well-being benefits of singing together.

Our programmes are delivered by experienced music professionals and supported by a leadership team with strong backgrounds in music, education, and community engagement.

The safety and wellbeing of young people is central to everything we do. All staff hold current Blue Cards and have completed child protection training.
